Work, employment and social protection 2025
This publication aims to portray, frame and relate trends in the areas of work, employment and social protection, as well as promoting reflection on public policies. TEPS 2025 focuses on the unequal effects of the climate transition. In the chapter dedicated to this topic, the quantitative expression of green and brown jobs in Portugal is measured, the different socio-professional profiles of these jobs are characterized, and the categories most vulnerable to policies for the transition to a low-carbon economy are identified. In addition to the main theme, three more chapters are presented: Economic context and workforce; Quality of employment, labor relations and inequalities; and Social protection. Each area explores various themes which, together, make it possible to characterize and problematize the country's economic, social and political-institutional framework.
