Francisca Silva has a degree and a Master's in Sociology, specializing in Inequalities and Social Intervention, from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto.

Throughout her academic career, she has studied social inequalities, particularly gender inequalities, and developed her internship report on the comparative study of the cases of the University of Porto and the University of Lund, in terms of gender equality.

She is currently a PhD student in Sociology at ISEG, and is part of the CoLABOR team as a Research Technician, as part of the development of the "ManaGENDER" Project.
