CoLABOR is developing an Atlas of Portugal in Europe for IPPS-Iscte
The Atlas of Portugal in Europe is IPPS-Iscte’s new digital platform, developed by CoLABOR, which brings together statistical, political, and territorial data on European countries in a single space for consultation, comparison, and analysis.
With information organized into 11 thematic areas, the Atlas brings together a set of indicators on economic, social, political, and territorial trends, offering a comprehensive overview of the European landscape. The platform serves both as a tool to support public policy-making and as an electoral observatory, providing access to the results of parliamentary elections in European countries dating back to 1986.
Designed for intuitive and interactive navigation, the platform makes it easy to access and view data in a clear and accessible way, bringing statistical and analytical information closer to researchers, institutions, and citizens.
This project builds on CoLABOR’s experience in developing digital solutions focused on data utilization, information visualization, and knowledge generation, helping to make statistical and analytical information more accessible to researchers, institutions, and citizens.
The launch of the platform precedes the celebrations for Europe Day, observed on May 9, and also marks the 40th anniversary of Portugal’s accession to the European Economic Community (EEC), now the European Union.
