Summary
The Atlas of Portugal in Europe places Portugal in a comparative perspective with other European countries, allowing for an analysis of the country’s trajectory over the past few decades in the context of European integration. This Atlas has three components. The first component is dedicated to presenting a curated set of statistical indicators, organized thematically, for each European country or region. This component provides a snapshot of the socioeconomic and institutional reality of each country, with the territory serving as the reference point for presenting the information. Additionally, this component of the platform will provide statistical information organized by region.
The second component of the platform focuses on the themes and their corresponding statistical indicators. While the first data visualization component is designed to allow users to perform a multidimensional analysis of each country or region, this component is intended to facilitate comparative analyses among European countries for each of the selected themes and indicators.
The third component consists of a compilation of data on parliamentary elections in European countries.
