Summary

The COCAG - Critical Perspectives on Career and Career Guidance project is a Cost Action that brings together academics from across Europe and beyond to explore how careers are changing in the contemporary world and what response is needed in terms of public policy and current practice.

The research questions aim to: (1) How can we understand the challenges and changes taking place in careers in the contemporary world? (2) How can policy-makers respond to the contemporary challenges facing individual careers? (3) How can the practice of career guidance adopt a more critical stance to address the changing world more effectively?

COCAG promotes debate and cooperation between researchers, encouraging publications, new research directions and the communication of results to political decision-makers and professionals.
