Summary

The Atlas of Local Government is a digital platform that provides information on the socio-economic profile of municipalities and the results of local elections. The portal has three components: 1) the presentation of data on the socio-economic profile of municipalities, as well as the identification of the political force and the elected mayor; 2) for each political force, the average values of various statistical indicators are presented in the municipalities where that force was mayor. This information can be filtered for the entire national territory or by NUTS II; 3) Presentation of information on the winning political force in municipal elections and the respective electoral results at national and municipal level since 1976.
