Forum "7 Years of CoLABs" highlights impact and future prospects of Collaborative Laboratories
The meeting "7 years of CoLABs: impacts and perspectives" was held yesterday, June 30, at the Pavilion of Knowledge, bringing together political decision-makers, management entities, public bodies, companies and representatives of the Collaborative Laboratories (CoLAB).
The event was organized by the Board of the CoLAB Forum, of which CoLABOR is a member.
This initiative was an opportunity to showcase the products, services and solutions developed by CoLAB over the last seven years, highlighting its contribution to innovation, competitiveness and sustainability in various sectors of the economy.
In addition to the interactive exhibition with stands from the different CoLABs, the meeting promoted dialog and the creation of synergies between the various laboratories, reinforcing collaboration and strategic alignment between institutions.
During the session, CoLAB's main activity and impact indicators were presented, and multisectoral perspectives on its role in the national science and innovation ecosystem were debated, focusing on topics such as socio-economic impact, internationalization, business competitiveness, technological innovation and sustainability.
The two afternoon panels were attended by companies, partners and management entities, who reflected on the impact generated so far and presented proposals for maximizing CoLAB's long-term contribution to both the economy and Portuguese society.
The event was also attended by the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre, who gave the opening speech, and the Secretary of State for the Economy, João Rui Ferreira, who closed the event. Both visited the stands and learned more about the diversity of activities and products developed by CoLAB.
