CoLABOR studies digital nomads in Portugal as part of the European REMAKING project
As part of the international research project on remote working – REMAKING – funded by Horizon Europe, CoLABOR is developing a series of case studies on digital nomads in Portugal, focusing on Ponta do Sol (Madeira), Lisbon, and Peniche.
During this work, CoLABOR promoted two opportunities to share experiences with digital nomads in January, including a face-to-face conversation in Lisbon and an online focus group with relevant actors. These initiatives created spaces for dialogue, reflection, and mutual learning, bringing together different perspectives on the impact of remote work in different territories.
These activities contribute to deepening knowledge about the multiple impacts of remote work—economic, housing, environmental, and mobility, among others—supporting reflection and the development of evidence-based public policies.
