Article by a CoLABOR researcher on platform work recognized by the Spanish Federation of Sociology

The article “An incomplete double movement: Spain’s legislative strategy for platform courier reclassification,” authored by Tiago Vieira, a researcher at CoLABOR, was honored in July with the Best Article in Economic Sociology Award for Junior Researchers, presented by the Spanish Federation of Sociology as part of its 14th Congress.

Published in 2025 in the International Labour Review, the academic journal of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the article analyzes the legislative strategy adopted in Spain for the reclassification of delivery platform workers.

The article is available as open access in English, French, and Spanish through the International Labour Review.
