CoLABOR attends the 7th Annual Political Economy Meeting

CoLABOR will be present at the 7th Annual Political Economy Meeting, which will take place between January 25 and 27 at the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG) in Lisbon under the theme "Reimagining the world in the 50 years since April 25".

CoLABOR researchers Jorge Caleiras and Maria Clara Oliveira, in collaboration with sociologist Renato Miguel do Carmo, are the organizers of the panel "Inequalities, poverty and social protection: the role of public policies and services".

In the second session of this panel, to be held on January 27, researchers Bárbara Ferreira and Sónia Costa will present a paper on "The evolution of benefits in the Social Protection and Citizenship System in Portugal in the 21st century". This intervention is the result of joint work by the presenters and CoLABOR researchers Tânia Almeida, Jorge Caleiras, Luís Manso, Maria Clara Oliveira and Tiago Teixeira.

Researcher Jorge Caleiras will also be co-authoring a paper on "The protection of the most vulnerable in Portugal: the RMG/RSI between continuity and change". 🎙️ This communication is the result of a paper co-authored by Luís Manso, Maria Clara Oliveira and Renato Miguel do Carmo.
