CoLABOR and the José Saramago Foundation launch a series of talks on Work

On May 14, CoLABOR will begin collaborating with the José Saramago Foundation by jointly organizing the series of talks "Deitar Mãos ao Trabalho".

Over the course of four sessions spread throughout the year, an open reflection will be promoted on the central place that work occupies in our lives, as well as on the ways in which it is organized, provided and regulated.

With the participation of researchers and experts from different fields, each of the sessions aims to contribute to an informed, plural and accessible debate, promoting the crossing of perspectives on the value of work, the language that shapes it, its relationship with culture and the new intelligence devices that are transforming the world of work.

The initiative is part of CoLABOR's mission to promote knowledge and public dialogue on the major challenges facing the world of work, in conjunction with leading cultural and scientific institutions.

  • May 14 - The place and value of work (18h30)
With Rita Rodrigues Branco, António Casimiro Ferreira, Maria da Paz Campos Lima and Manuel Carvalho da Silva
