The future of remote working debated at the third meeting of the REMAKING project
How is remote working changing - and what implications does it have for society and the economy? These were some of the central questions debated at the third consortium meeting of the REMAKING project, which took place between May 13 and 15 in the city of Chania, Crete.
CoLABOR participated as a partner in the consortium, represented by researchers Tiago Santos Pereira, Ana Teixeira and Eugénia Pires. The team contributed to taking stock of the work carried out to date, as well as defining the project's next steps.
The meeting was marked by a collaborative and productive approach, reinforcing the importance of interdisciplinary research in supporting the formulation of public policies that respond to the emerging challenges of the world of work, particularly in the context of the growing adoption of remote working schemes.
CoLABOR leads the Work Package focused on the "Economic and Social Effects of Remote Working" and is currently developing a case study on Digital Nomads, in collaboration with the Greek partners of ECHN - European Creative Hubs Network.
