CoLABOR presents TEPS 2025, highlighting the unequal impacts of the climate transition on employment
Today, November 26, at the CoLABOR 2025 Conference, CoLABOR is presenting the new edition of the publication Labor, Employment and Social Protection 2025 (TEPS 2025), an annual report that aims to portray, frame and relate the main trends in the areas of labor, employment and social protection, contributing to an informed reflection on public policies.
This year's edition devotes its central chapter to the unequal effects of the climate transition, analyzing the quantitative expression of green and brown jobs in Portugal, characterizing their socio-professional profiles and identifying the groups most vulnerable to decarbonization policies and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
In addition to the theme in question, TEPS 2025 includes three more thematic chapters:
Economic context and labor market
Quality of employment, labor relations and inequalities
Social protection
These chapters cover a wide range of topics which, taken together, make it possible to characterize and problematize the country's economic, social and political-institutional framework, offering a comprehensive view of the current and emerging challenges in the field of work and employment.
With this publication, CoLABOR reinforces its commitment to producing applied, rigorous and relevant knowledge for the design, monitoring and evaluation of public policies in Portugal.
