Pedro Teixeira
Researcher
Pedro Teixeira holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Economics (NOVA SBE), a master’s degree in Political Theory (LSE), and a Ph.D. in Political Science (FU Berlin).
He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Marc Bloch Center in Berlin on a Franco-German project on the history of models of workplace democracy throughout the 20th century. He taught seminars on philosophy and political economy at the Otto-Suhr Institute (FU Berlin) and served as a research assistant in the Department of Finance at the LSE and at NOVA SBE, participating in various research projects.
His interdisciplinary research has focused on topics ranging from economics to political theory, including the concept of democracy in the workplace, the functioning and regulation of markets, and the relationship between public and social policies and financing models. He has also published work as a German translator.
