João Fialho

João Sousa Fialho holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (NovaSBE) and a CEMS Master’s in International Management from NovaSBE and the University of Vienna (WU). He holds a postgraduate degree in Social Economics: Cooperativism, Mutualism, and Solidarity from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Coimbra and is currently a doctoral candidate in Political Economy at ISCTE-IUL, with a thesis project titled “The Political Economy of Economic Democracy: The Case of an Integral Cooperative.”
He has worked in the fields of international trade, distribution, cooperatives, and ethical finance, and is a co-founder of Rizoma Cooperativa Integral and its research and training collective, Malha Cooperativa.
He is currently responsible for the commercial management of CoLABOR’s services and products and provides support for strategic management within the Proposals and Projects Office.
